2024 NAIT Bridge Building Competition
The JEN COL team was victorious at this year’s NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) 49th annual Construction Engineering Technology Gary Stroich Bridge Building Competition over the weekend (Sep 21, 2024).
Team members constructed a two-rope suspension bridge across Whitemud Creek and successfully crossed the bridge and returned a total of 30 crossings in a super-fast time of 15:03 to capture the championship trophy.
We weren’t the only winners though. This event brings together corporate industry teams and student teams for a fun morning of competition and camaraderie while also collecting food donations for Edmonton’s Food Bank.
