Groundbreaking ceremony kicks off Quesnel Junior School project

Quesnel Junior School Exterior Architect Rendering

JEN COL was on hand to break ground on Quesnel Junior School in the City of Quesnel, BC on October 20, 2020. Although attendance was limited due to COVID-19 restrictions, dignitaries from the City of Quesnel, school board trustees, students and teachers were on hand to put some ceremonial shovels in the ground.

When completed, this brand new two-storey, 6,300 m2 middle school will be home to about 550 grade 8 and 9 students for the 2022 school year. The school, designed by CHP Architects, not only supports 21st-century learning, but will also provide a neighbourhood learning centre to help meet community needs. JEN COL is excited to work with Quesnel School District #28 on this transformative project.
