Building long-term care and assisted living facilities is a rapidly evolving field in construction and there is no greater privilege than building the home BC’s senior residents deserve after a lifetime of giving. It’s our opportunity to care for them—in a way that embraces their families and all they hold dear.
Every seniors’ and extended care project in BC is unique, with standards, requirements and community expectations evolving through an accelerated pace of transition as the baby-boom generation transitions into our elderly demographic: over 30,000 additional long-term care beds will be needed in BC by 2040.
The COVID-19 crisis has illuminated areas of need and intensified the pressure on developers and healthcare providers to deliver unprecedented levels of care, protection, safety and comfort in new facilities while upgrading and retrofitting existing ones.
