Jen-Col’s superintendents, foremen and long-term employees hold current certificates in First Aid w/ CPR and WHMIS. Examples of other courses completed are the Prime Contractors course, Principles of Health and Safety Management, Leadership for Safety Excellence, and Merit Contractors Supervisor Training Program.
Jen-Col’s Safety Officer is responsible for the implementation and administration of our safety program. Our safety program involves the participation of the company’s senior management, project managers, project superintendents, field employees and subcontractors. All of Jen-Col’s key field personnel including superintendents, foremen and long-term employees hold a current certificate in Standard First Aid, CPR and have completed courses from the Alberta Construction Safety Association including: Construction Safety Training System, WHMIS and Merit Contractors Supervisor Training Program.
